Labor Day

My thoughts are with the residents of the Gulf Coast as Hurricane Gustav heads their way. I know that evacuating and preparing for a hurricane aren't the way that many planned to spend their Labor Day. May God bless and keep each and every one of you.

  1. Been watching on TV. Not much else can we do to help them at this moment--nor can any of the 2 million evacuees do anything, except wait. Hopefully some of them will wait and be still...and know that He is God--not me/them/they/us...

  2. I'm glad it missed us here in Houston. I've seen many hurricans. Watched the roof of my barn fly away, my water well, a big oak tree, gone days without electricity...it's all very unpleasant. But it will all happen again. And again.
