Hope that each of you had a day filled with good food and good people. I did the day and let the day do me.
It was all good here. The wind died down, the moon rose, the sun went down, and the stars were like diamonds. Warming our bones by the bonfire capped off this Thanksgiving 2012.
It looks perfect. I love your pictures, Syd.
ReplyDeletegood food, a fire, lovely sunset and the pups....i think you had a good day...smiles...how did visits to the parents go for your wife?
ReplyDeletebeautiful pictures!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and C.
ReplyDeleteA bonfire sounds lovely. We wound up with 13 people sitting at table, TONS of leftovers even after wrapping up take home for each person who wanted them. Jeckyll, Scumbag, and I all sober. It was very different than last year, but just as good if not better.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like it was splendid Syd. <3 Very peaceful.
ReplyDeleteUhh we had last weeks left overs and me and the dogs slept while we waited for the wife to come home from work. It's all good as they say. Except for one of the dogs who has an attitude.
ReplyDeleteWe ate at a soup kitchen. The food was crap. The company, fabulous.
ReplyDeleteWe had a great time with some friends in the program.
ReplyDeleteThe host made tofu turkey which tasted like cardboard.
We also had the real thing a turkey with crisp skin.
My deep well of loneliness surfaced briefly and I tried to care for this part of me without judgement.
Old dog is adorable.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary.
