I'm at home today with a wicked sore throat that renders me voiceless. I sound like a croaking frog. The good thing about this is that I don't have the killer headache associated with a head cold. There's always a silver lining....
I haven't heard anything from the insurance adjuster regarding Blue; however, the BMW folks think that she may be totaled. Hopefully, I'll be able to croak out a few words should the adjuster call.
I'm going to get as much rest as I can today in hopes of being able to get out tomorrow. There's more chicken soup to eat, except I have zero appetite. I'm just going to take it one day at a time.
Hope that you are having a good Tuesday.
feel better SYD
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon frog man Syd! Hang in there. jeNN
ReplyDeleteAfter reading about chicken soup, bed, fires and comforters in your blog yesterday, I awoke this morning with a raging sore throat and aching bones. I've spent the day ina fish processing factory. I hold you responsible Syd. Fully responsible. Therefore I think it is your responsibility to swap places. Get well soon as they say!!
ReplyDeleteFeel better and get lots of rest!
ReplyDeleteWicked sore throats sure are "wicked". Hope it leaves you soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm having a great Tuesday. Went to one of my favorite Alanon meetings and am now reading blogs - what could be better than that?
I sure hope you start feeling better. The picture of yesterday's soup looked great to me and appears to be a cure-all for anything!
ReplyDeleteGet well.
Hi Syd! Thanks for the comments. I hope you are feeling better. Being sick is no fun. {{Hugs}}
ReplyDeletePeace and Serenity,
Kristen

I think it is very funny that you are eating chicken soup and frogs taste like chicken.
ReplyDeleteWell that’s what I heard anyway. ~AR
Take it easy. Hope you clear out soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your encouraging comments! They mean a lot to me. Your blog is my favorite. I'm grateful for your sharing! Ryan did make it home and we had a fabulous teachable moment that hopefully made an impact.
ReplyDeletehere's a cyber-kiss, hope you turn into a prince again soon...
ReplyDeletepoor, poor blue. my heart goes out to you.
I thought we were going to hear another frog parable. Here's one...I’m sure you’ve heard the fairy tale of the handsome prince who was transformed into a lowly frog...oh well, not enough room for a bed-time story. And also I'm not "tromping". Hope you feel better soon. I paid $30 one time for a doctor to tell me to gargle with warm salt water. The advise was worth the money.
ReplyDeleteI am delinquent in catching up on my reading.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Blue. Maybe Santa Claus has something of a different color in mind.
Syd, Creamsavers candy soothes an aching throat. ;o)
