Scenes from the day
It's been a happy weekend. And I wanted to post a few scenes that capture the happiness.
I also want to say that my sponsor has 17 years of Al-Anon celebrated this week. And I'm most appreciative of the experience, strength and hope that has been shared with me. I think that it's because of what's been passed down from sponsor to sponsee over the years, that I'm where I am today. And I'm passing it on to my sponsees. I'm most grateful for all that has been given to me through this program.
Have a good Sunday.

Glad you had a happy weekend. Passing it on is something you are good at, to Al-anons and AAs. Take care

ReplyDeleteYour photos really do capture a happy picture of the window.
ReplyDeleteI love the pic of you and your dog. I love dogs in general, but the photo radiates peace.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your sponsor. I am always so grateful to hear when men stay in al-anon. We just dont have enough of your gender, and it reinforces hope for me.
Syd, you are an EXCELLENT photographer. I put my pictures through their paces with Paint Shop Pro and it makes "good" photos First Prize winners.
ReplyDeleteSponsoring is for me, sharing experience, strength, and hope. And that "experience" is, of course, as you wrote, the exact same way my program was given to ME by my early sponsors--Oooops!--and later ones also!!
And I'm F.I.N.E. too.

picturesque weekend you had. and mine was good too, thank you!
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures. Is that your puppy? I received your gifts, they are wonderful. I got them on Friday, when we heard about Bella and had not had time to post with all that is going on, so tonight I created a montage of pictures to post up and show everyone what I got. It was an awesome gift to be received when it was. Life is so full of ups and downs, thank you Syd I appreciate this so much. The pictures didn't come out too great, I was in a hurry but the gifts were amazing.
