Heard in a meeting

Love is understanding, acceptance, tenderness. If it tries to strangle and possess, it is not love.

Trust is like a bridge: Once burned it is hard to get back.

People do the best they can do. If they could do better they would.

The more I do the things I fear, the less I fear them.

    I was so full of fury and I loathed people but I wanted everybody to like me ...which really creates torque.

    It's amazing how much we can learn after we think we know it all.

  2. I love ALL of these quotes because they are so true. The one about people doing the best then can oddly makes me sad when I think about what my "best" has been at times...

  7. The more I do the things I fear, the less I fear them. I am believing in this Syd. They say actions speak louder than words. Our actions will also overcome our fears.I am learning if I focus on " fear " it will overcome me, my actions will WIN!
    thanks for sharing this and reminding me once more. :}

  8. I find the issue of trust difficult - as you say once it is burned it is hard to get back. However (I only talk for myself) it can be re-built as long as one watches the behaviour and not what is said.

    Love your blog.

    I have gotten tangled up in this one. Part of me believes it, the other doesn't. Not sure which is heart and which is head. Food for thought.
