Out for a stroll

I've been out for a walk on the beach this morning.
It's another warm and sunny day.
Lazy time for us.
Just walking and watching the dog play.
Ruffling each other's hair,
Linking our fingers together,
Laughing as the waves chase us away from the water.
Smelling the salt in her hair,
Kissing full lips,
Encircling firm hips.
Loving these moments when
There is nothing for us to worry about,
Nothing to take away
This special time together.

  3. Hi Syd. Nice to meet you and I'm so glad that you stopped by for a short visit with me at my blog. Love this poem, I can feel the refreshing sea breeze and hear the laughter. [wonderful photo too]

And I skimmed down below to your previous post and yep, you're so right where to find balance. Way to go. Like my parents always told me, One baby step at a time, and even if you fall, you can always get back up and walk the right path again!!!

    Happy New Year.

  4. Beautiful..you are a Poet.

......everyone in Al-Anon yesterday morning was saying they were glad Christmas was over. They felt more content now; .. no more 'expectations'.... they can go back to the 'simple' things......and with people they love or by themselves.

......sounds like you had a lovely peaceful walk with you Lady.

Enjoy the rest of you day....BettyAnn
