The last few days

I have been on the boat since Tuesday morning. The weather has been superb, with temperatures in the mid-70's.

After walks on the beach, naps and a fire, I feel wonderful. My sadness has lifted and dissipated as a fog does from being burned off by the sun.

It's hard to not feel joy in the face of such beauty. Even though tomorrow will see me be a year older, and yes, even old by Mark's definition, I'm aging in a good way. Or at least, that's what I've been told. Thank you for stopping by to say Hello.
Now, I will leave you with some photos from the water and beach.

  3. Water, a boat, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, sand and a warm fire, but most of all a devoted blonde companion. I can't think of anything better to lift your spirits and appreciate life as it is lived.

  6. Have a wonderful day Syd. I personally pray this day be the best one of the year just passed and the worst one of the year ahead. You sir are one of the strongest people I "know." It is now your turn to know it as well.

  8. Happy Birthday, Syd ! Thanks for showing us how you got out of the "doldrums". I have to remember, when I go that route, that a 24 hour span can change everything ... and to get out of myself. It really works.

It's good to get away and relax sometimes like that. Give your dog a pat for me :)
